Challenge

To make TFL’s huge wealth of realtime and historical data comprehensible to a range of users, from internal experts to external stakeholder sand service users.

Solution and approach

Fracture used the HoloLens to create a tabletop architectural model of London, over which users could interactively add and remove layers of data. Multiple users, both Local and Remote can share a single view, experiencing and discussing it in a natural way.

Success

Mixed Reality’s ability to show complex dynamic 3d content allowed for a rich interface that supports a more natural, real world human interaction with the interface. Support for multiple users allows for easy collaboration between stakeholders and experts, something which is significantly harder with traditional expert – oriented interfaces.
